Ascalab-Webelinx Games overwhelm xSy in CLN 3 quarter-final opener, 105–55
In a one-sided quarter-final opener of the CLN 3 playoffs, Ascalab-Webelinx Games dismantled xSy 105–55 on April 5, 2026 at OŠ "Ivo Andrić" Niš. The visitors turned a tight opening minute into a rout, posting 25 points in the first quarter and exploding for a 32-point third quarter that removed any doubt about the outcome.
The scoring by periods read 10–25, 16–22, 13–32 and 16–26, a pattern that reflected Ascalab-Webelinx Games’ balance and efficiency on offense and sustained defensive pressure across forty minutes.
The standout was Petrović Đorđe, who finished with 29 points on a blistering 11-of-15 shooting, including 4-of-8 from long range, and a perfect 3-for-3 from the line. He also handed out seven assists, collected three steals and posted an efficiency rating of 37. Petrović Đorđe paced a well-rounded attack and frequently finished possessions or found teammates when the defense collapsed.
Frontcourt work and second-chance points helped seal the result. Tričković Milan produced a 20-point, 13-rebound performance (eight offensive rebounds), while Gajić Nikola supplied 13 points and 11 rebounds. The team’s spacing was aided by sharp shooting: Ristovski Nikola knocked down four triples on his way to 13 points and five assists, keeping the floor stretched and the offense flowing.
xSy had bright spots, though they were few. Petrović Pavle led his side with 18 points and six made free throws, and Stojiljkovic Lazar contributed 10 points and eight rebounds. Milanov Aleksandar added 10 points and six rebounds, but defensive lapses and a disparity on the glass made a comeback impossible.
Ascalab-Webelinx Games’ depth, offensive balance and dominance on the offensive glass turned the quarter-final opener into an emphatic statement. xSy will need adjustments and a sharper defensive identity to extend the series.
